On 21/6 (Saturday), BY drove me straight to Commonwealth to check out the car rentals. I was deciding between Splendid and Evergreen. Besides these, other companies require minimum drive experience. Finally after decided on Evergreen, I went in to reserve a Toyota Corolla (the cheapest range left). The car was about 10 years old. I wondered how bad the condition would be. Quite strange this company accepts new driver. I am only a month old! Anyway, after enough of my  enquiries, I was told to place $100 deposit. No NETs accepted, not enough cash on me. Hence, got to do funds transfer. After photocopying my NRIC and driving license, we left.
Went to the ATM machines at IKEA to do the funds transfer. I was told the boss will contact me once the money is received, but to no avail. Think I will call up the next day. I rated their service as my top priority, hope they will not screw up. We ate sausage buns at IKEA and headed to CCK to do my virgin car wash!
First, we started by filling two pails with water. The water gushed out furiously for 30 seconds. Initially, we wasted lots of water as our pails were too small. I wondered how the water system worked! It was so amazing. Once you inserted a 20 cents coin, the water will gush out. After soaping the car, we rinsed it with lots of water. It was so fun, I tell you, seriously enjoying it! After drying the car, we felt a sense of satisfaction to see our reflected images on the shiny surfaces. :D Spent a total of a dollar. It was so worth it compared to the petrol kiosk's manual $6 car wash. Killed two birds with a stone. It made my day and could treat it as a form of exercise.
After wash, went to CCK stadium to shower then to LOT 1 for dinner at Ajisen! I had gastric attack again. Sian. This was the second time at Ajisen. First extreme case was at Taka, Ajisen. It really hurt till I could not walk. I hate gastric attacks...
