On the road, the traffic lights never gave me any sudden amber light problem, luckily. No difficult vehicles or pedestrians. Phew! It was smooth going. While I was driving, the tester chatted with me. Enquired about the number of lessons I took, if I am studying or working, my job. Luckily, I was not distracted.
When I had parked myself in the driving centre, the tester said, "Teacher, follow me to the office." I was like laughing. Lol. Funny. He was walking so fast, I had to run after him after getting out of the car. Scared I would lose track of him. After we sat down in the office, he said, "You can go down to the car showroom to buy a car." Immediately, I knew the outcome. I was laughing in joy and thanking him profusely. He commented that my driving was ok but I should react fast to hazards. Got 10 demerit points.
After that, chatted with my instructor, Mr Ng. Got my deposit back. He commented that 10 demerit points was considered not bad standard. I was thanking him profusely too. Without his constant nagging and fierce remarks, I would not be pressurised in correcting my mistakes. Sometimes, I do admit that I was quite sian when he constantly nagged at me, be it minor or major mistakes. But I realised, it is true that without scolding, one will not learn. After a short chit chat with him, went to listen to a talk and watched a video on accidents on the road due to drink driving and speeding.
So, now I am holding a temporary driving license. The official one would be mailed to me within a month. Cannot wait to get it! Thanks to my dad's lucky red packet and BY's Good Luck care bear which I brought them with me in my bag. Like small kid. Lol. They were my lucky charms! BY was so nice to rush to my place after work to send me to Bukit Gombak. Aww..
After settled with everything, BY drove over to Science Centre to have Sakura dinner buffet. It was my third time there. Hee. Enjoyed the dinner. We dined from 6pm to about 8.30pm. After dinner, BY let me tried parking. Really tough without the poles. Phew!
It was a really wonderful, joyous day for me! Really an achievement as it was something I wanted to achieve on my wish list. Hee. Could still recall on 180208 how disheartened I was when I flunked my first driving test. But being undemoralised, I moved on by taking up more circuit practices in April. In total, I took 50 lessons (including 16 circuits), spent $2439. Did a calculation on it when I got home. Haha. Two words before I end: Really happy! :D
