Today is my Driving Practical Test (180208). Well, I flunked it. I really have no idea why I did so badly in my circuit. Strike kerb twice while doing my directional change. That was my first station. First, the car was too close to my right. Yet, I did the reverse and obviously, it strike the kerb. Hence, I pulled my car forward and tried again. This time, it was too close to my left. Ok, I did a second pulling forward. Alright, finally I succeeded. As I was turning out, the car strike kerb a second time. I think I was too disappointed that I had forgotten to check the marking before turning. 

Ok, as I hoped the remaining stations I would not make any mistake. Yet again, at the Vertical Parking station, another mistake occurred. As I reversed into the slot, my car was too close to the left poles. Hence, I pulled the car forward and tried to centralise the car.

The rest of the stations were perfect except the above two. I was utterly disappointed! Cos all along my circuits training never encountered such problems but don't know why today I was so unlucky. My main road was better though, surprisingly. Even my instructor was shocked at my performance in the circuit.

Argh! Now have to wait 3 more months for my upcoming test (200508). Hopefully, I don't feel too dejected for too long. Thankfully, I received encouragements which made me feel better. Am also greatful to those who asked how I fared. : ) This test is like a death day to me. It affects my mood so deeply. No one can feel how dejected I am. Haiz. I realised something. I tend to take things too seriously that I let them control my emotions. Hopefully after a night's sleep, I will feel better.

14/02/08, besides being a Valentine's Day, it's another special day - his birthday. Anw, went for my drive in the morning. Then went to Lot 1 to collect the rings. : ) Walked around while waiting for him to arrive. When he reached around 1pm, we went to Ajisen for lunch. So coincidentally, saw my friends, Vin, FL and HJ there. BY saw FL first. So we went over to sit with them. We took quite some time to decide what to eat. The salmon rice which I ordered had only 6 pieces of salmon in it and it costs $10! I got a shock! Lol.. After lunch, we headed to Sentosa.

When we reached there, the Imbiah Carpark was full. Hence, we had to park at Beach Carpark which was quite far away from the Purple Zone. BY decided to park at an unofficial zone along with other 5 cars. We then went to purchase tickets for the Luge and Skyride. The staff told us that we had to go for the Luge first before going for the Skyride. Wa, I really enjoyed the Luge! It was so thrilling! I wished I can go for many rounds! Unfortunately the ride ended very soon. The Skyride was ok. It's like sitting on cable car but just that it is open air. : )

After that, we went to walk along the beach. Then about 5 plus, we went to shower and changed. He was so funny to hide the present behind his back all the way from Vivo Carpark to the restaurant. When we reached Aji Hanabi, it was still early from our reservation time. After we were seated down, he handed me a red paper bag. On it was written SK, and I immediately knew what it was. After placing our orders, he wanted me to open it. Honestly, I like it. The other day I was just casually commenting on that necklace when we passed by SK showcase at PS. Yet, he was so sweet to remember it. I do not even remember the design! 

After our fills at about 8pm, settled the bills and we  walked around to digest.

Overall, it was a great day of fun and good food! Happy belated Valentine's Day to all! ; )

Today went for a swim at CCK pool with BY and his parents! First time! Lol. Did not feel weird though. Anyway it was I who suggested it the day before since they wanted to go swimming too. BY reached about 3 plus.

I aimed to swim 20 laps in all and I made it! Hee. Happy! It was quite some time since I last went swimming. Glad that my stamina had not deteriorated. After which, BY drove his parents to Gain City beside Lot 1 and we went Delifrance for dinner. Ordered quite a lot. 2 lobster blique soup, potato wedges, 2 main course (salmon for me and half chicken for him). It costs a total of $60 plus. I got a shock. Just a simple meal at a simple restaurant can cost that much.

Anyway after our meal, we went to walk around. Decided to get a new pair of rings. We took quite a long while to decide which to get. Actually we decided to get the one with the matt finish but cos of a reason he wanted to get the other pair instead. I think the salesgirl should be quite pissed with us cos we already asked her to get the sizes for the matt finish pair. But we asked to change to another pair instead. We were 2 difficult customers! We were quite freaked out by her cos she can even sleep while standing! BY assumed she needed a smoke. She looked damn shag lo. Even we took damn long to decide on the engraving too! Lol! In the end, we ended up to just engrave our initials. We can only collect it 3 days later and no deposit accepted. What the! What if their shop close down, our $88 going to be forfeited!

Soon, we were craving for dessert so went to Macdonald and bought a vanilla and chocolate milkshake. Kind of pitied the woman who was a one man show. She had to work alone with the queue building up. Quite sad. We found a ledge and sat on it to drink it. Quite nice just sitting there drinking our milkshakes. : )

After which, we headed home as most of the shops were closing. Tomorrow back to work. Sian! Still in holiday mood man.

On the third day of CNY (9/2), went BY's place for house visit. He reached my place at 3pm but I was unprepared. Went down only about 3.45pm. Made him waited so long. Felt so bad! Gee.

At his place, we ate anything that could be found on the kitchen table. Chicken, pizza, BBQ meat, almond longan pudding. Hee. Yummy! After eating, went into his study to play games! Tennis and soccer! It was fun playing together. I made alot of noise throughout. So noisy. Lol.

Chit chat with his parents for a while then we left at 7pm.  Headed to Labrador park to take a look. After which, we headed to Harbour Front for dinner at Ramen Ten. Their last order is 9.45pm. We were just 20 minutes away. Heng! Placed a quick order. While eating, one of the waitress came to ask if she can serve the dessert now. I gave a "Eh.." reply then looked at our half eaten bowl. She got the idea and walked away. She came a second time and we said ok. BY was quite pissed when she came over with the bill without waiting for us to finish our food. It was pretty rude. But could not blame them as they were rushing to close up and we came pretty late. After dinner, we headed home.

On the first day of CNY (7/2), my mum's side relatives organising a chalet at East Coast Park. My mum, bro and I reached there about 5 plus. Most of them were already there. We started preparing stuff for BBQ later that night. Some of them were setting up the mahjong table.

I waited for BY to arrive at about 11 plus then I started the BBQ with him. There were satay, otah, chicken wing, fish, sweet potato, etc. It was fun BBQ-ing but very hot! Phew! After eating, it was already 1 plus. I went for shower and BY went to play mahjong.

After shower, I watched BY played mahjong. Slept at around 4 plus. Had to sleep in the hall with the picnic mat as the room upstairs was occupied by my uncles and cousins. Did not have a good sleep as the floor was so hard and I kept tossing around. Not used without hugging my bolster to sleep too. : (

The mahjong session ended at 7am. That woke me up. Everyone was very shag by then. We started clearing up. At about 8am, I asked BY to go cycling with me! Though he did not have any wink the night before, he did not show any reluctance.

It was cooling to cycle in the morning breeze. After about an hour plus, we cycled back. Had our breakfast and watched TV. Doraemon movie was showing at that time. Hee!

We checked out at about 11 plus. I was pushing the trolley with my auntie's big fat rabbit cage on it. All passersby were talking about it as 'Bear Bear' (rabbit's name) wheeled past. Lol. Reached home about 12 plus. Had something light for lunch, unpacked everything and chatted with mum till 3pm. Then I knocked into my pillow till 6 plus.

On CNY eve (6/2), was busy in the morning helping mum to prepare food. After lunch, was busy again baking. Pineapple tarts! Lol. But it turned out to be pineapple cookies instead. Lol. I enjoyed it especially cutting the dough with the mould. Fun. After our reunion dinner, I was baking sponge cake and making buns with mum. The sponge cake turned out quite hard cos we did not have an egg beater machine hence, the cake could not expand. Making the bun dough was fun. The dough was so elastic that it could bounce. The bun tasted not bad. Hee. Fun fun.. I am so into baking now. Haha. Busy all the way till 11pm. My body was aching all over. Mum was so sweet to help me massage with the hand massager! Hee..

Took leave on 1st Feb to go shopping! Tired of working everyday. Need a break from work. Anw, went Citibank with BY to settle his credit cards thingy. Afterwhich headed to IMM to collect our makeover photos. When we got to the gallery, it was locked! Disappointment rose upon us. I got so irritated I kept knocking on the door. Haha. We left to Giant to get something and decided to go back and tried our luck again. Fortunately, lady luck was shining on us! Someone returned. Phew, our trip to IMM was not a wasted one.

Next, went down to Taka-Wisma. We were looking for wallets. However, it was tough to get wallets of the same kind that suited us both. Either it was too girly for him or too manly for me. Walked into Tiffany & Co. boutique to drool at the jewellery. The three-hearts pendant necklace caught my attention. The hearts are in gold, silver and bronze. The price was very steep as I would have expected. $1000+. BY was saying to get it for me as a proposal gift. I rejected straight. At half the price can get a nice one too. Well, my appetite is not so huge.

Anw it was a great day. Enjoyed every moment. : )))

This is a long outdated post. This happened on 26/01. After work, went Lot 1 sakae sushi dinner with BY. It was quite a long queue. But our hunger did not get into frustration. :) After the sumptous sushi, I went home to get their belated Xmas presents. Reached Vin's place at 9 plus. 'How early'. Haha. Hung around for a while till 9.30pm before heading to FL's place. HJ's bf supposed to pick us up at 10pm but instead delayed till 11 plus. Well, no complaints cos we should be thankful of him giving us a ride there.

Reached St. James about 12mn. S acted as an experienced tour guide leading us around, introducing all the different places to us. I felt like a completely noob there. Lol. Afterwhich, we stood outside and waited for S's friends to arrive. Amazingly, think they are privilege regulars or whatever, all of us were entitled to free entry. Cool! Haha.

Overall, it was a great experience. BY woke specially from his sleep and drove over to fetch me home. Went West Coast to enjoy the cool night breeze. We left after a short while as I was freezing cold. Aftewhich, went over to my area to have supper. Half boiled eggs and horlicks, milo. Could not recall when was my last time eating such food. Actually it does feel nice eating such food at coffee shop at that quiet, peaceful timing.

After I reached home and cleaned up, it was already 4.30am. Knocked into my pillow straight.
