My plan on Saturday was to go Chinese Garden to celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival. I want to look at those huge, brightly lit, cute lanterns. However, it was a total disappointment when we reached there. Wasted half an hour turning into Chinese Garden; carpark was full, hence being signalled to park at the neighbourhood carpark. I thought Chinese Garden is not a popular place of interest but was stunned to see the streaming crowd. This turned us off totally. We changed our plan.
What a disappointment. Even got my bubble lantern ready. The music from my lantern could not work anymore. That night before was still working. Double disappointment.

Went AMK hub for movie "Ratatouille" and to shop for watch. The show was extremely hilarious! My laughter could be heard intervally for the past an hour or so. Soon, my laughter died out cos I dozed off. It was not a surprise to BY. Do not get me wrong. It was not the show that bored me. Blame it on the comfortable seat accompanied with the freezing air-con. Thankfully, I was wrapped up in BY's jacket which looked like a trenchcoat when worn on me. It is extremely long when worn on me cos of our difference in height. Lol.. I bet each time i fell asleep while watching move, BY was disappointed. But I just cannot change this bad habit of mine. It started since young. Recalled the times I dozed off in cinemas when I was watching movies with my family. What a joke.
After movie, went to scout around for food. I took a long time in deciding what to eat cos I was not feeling well. Irritably, almost all the eateries closed so early. It had yet to reach 10pm! Ended up eating at the foodcourt where most of the stalls were closing too. At around 10pm, all the lights were out and we had to eat in semi-darkness. An auntie even came to warn us they were closing. At that moment, we were still happily savouring our desserts. We even harboured thoughts of bringing the bowls of desserts out of the foodcourt to eat. So irritating, could not even have a peaceful dinner.
Anyway, I am deciding on either the Puma or Fossils watch. Do not want to buy on impulse cos I worry about my change of taste. One moment I may like it, the next moment I may not. This strictly applies to products only. No offence ok, BY? ; p

Went swimming at Khatib pool the day before with BY. First time I seen a pool being cordoned into 3 lanes. The extremely left and right lanes are for learners. We, swimmers can only use the center lane. There is also a board which writes, "For Continuous Laps Only". Anyway in such a way it is good also as we do not have to blend in with the learners crowd. My stamina is deteriorating. Swam only 12 laps in all. Disappointed.
After the refreshing swim, headed to town. It was a headache to find a parking lot. In the end, had to park at Meridien Shopping and we made our way to Heerens on foot. Went Sakae Sushi for dinner. After which went HMV and BY bought the Tintin DVD cartoon series. Cool! Have been wanting to watch. Hee..

Yesterday was our Teacher's Day Celebration barbercuing at East Coast. It's organised by my boss. There were lots of food. Otah, chicken wing, satay, cheese hotdog, steak, stingray, squid, prawn, you name it. Incredibly, I ate the most. One of my colleagues kept commenting that I had been eating for the past 4 hours which was incredibly true. But somehow I did not know why my stomach was not filling at all. It seemed like whatever went in got digested immediately. Lol.. Another colleague also commented I had an amazing appetite and yet I never put on weight. I had my last piece of honey dew at about 10 plus and I stopped myself from looking for more food. Finally. Haha.. I think I scare most of the people there for behaving like a glutton. Lol.. Every teacher also received a rose each. Somehow felt like Valentine's Day. Haha.. Left the place at about 11 plus. Was damn shag that day.
This morning accompanied mum for her X-ray follow-up. After which BY came and sent her home. Then off we headed to Suntec. Supposedly, we were there for the IT fair. But the crowd was unbelievable stressing. I hate crowds. I supposed BY hates it too. He suggested turning back. So we ended up shopping ultimately. Had pizza for dinner. Finally had the chance to try that rosemary chicken pizza with cheese fondue that was advertised on TV quite some time ago. It was superb, dipped in the cheesy sauce. Yum! We also ordered a platter with fried potato wedges, calamari, onion rings and spicy drumlets. Unfortunately, my right side of my mouth was filled with ulcers which affected my appetite a little. : ( After dinner, we walked around for a while before we headed home.
