Well, today went to Queensway Shopping Centre to shop for BY jerseys and shoes. I was very careless in the washroom just now. Left my wallet near the sink to wash my hands. I actually forgotten about it and walked into the cubicle to relieve myself. When I was almost done, I realised my wallet was not with me and panicked. So, I quickly left the cubicle and was relieved to see my wallet still lying there! There were two girls standing near my wallet too. They could actually take it and run away but they did not. I was surprised there were still kind souls out there. I was really lucky. Thank goodness. I hated myself for being so careless!
Had dinner at Anchorpoint, Subway. Went to one of this shop that sells alot of interesting car signs. BY bought 2 of them which says, "If you drink and drive, you are an idiot!" and "If I agree with you, will you just shut up!" If you are interested in getting cool signs, whether for cars, bedrooms, doors or even toilets, you may want to try this shop in Anchorpoint.
Next destination was Kent Ridge Park in NUS. BY really miss his alma mater so much so that he kept driving in there. Haha.. The many curvy bends heading to the park are so scary! The slopes are rather steep. Kent Ridge Park looks very deserted at night. So gals, do not ever attempt to go there even in a group of gals. Get some boys along. Just my piece of advice. : ) While BY and I was sitting on a bench, he was so "fortunately" struck by a lump of droppings. We were wondering was it from the birds, lizards or bats? That reminds me. Lizards do not crawl up the trees i supposed. Thankfully BY had an extra pair of slippers in his car. If not I will be walking around with my heels which will be so tiring for my feet!
Ever since BY drives, he will try to recce every park and reservoir in Singapore. Almost every Saturday, we will recce different park or reservoir. So far have been to Upper Seletar Reservoir, West Coast Park, Kranji Reservoir and Kent Ridge Park. Our next one will be Labrador Park and Mount Faber!!! Hee..

My blog has been dead for some time. Blame it on the wireless connection problem. Just managed to settle it today. Thanks to this American linksys technician staff who attended to me on the phone. Her patience and helpfulness is admirable. Giving me clear and detailed step by step instructions. I promised I will feedback on her good service. : )
Headed to Farmart with BY straight after I settled my connection problem. Stomach was rumbling. Ordered lots of food for the first time. Barbecued stingray, bbq squid, bbq mussels, baby kailan with scallops and oyster omelette. Yummy! I am a happy gal when it comes to lots of good food. Hee... Actually we still wanted to order butter prawns. Luckily we did not. Our stomachs were bloated after these 5 dishes. Can you imagine we had 5 dishes to just the 2 of us? My favourite were the oyster omelette and bbq squid. I am still salivating thinking of the meal we had just now.
After our meal, walked around Farmart to digest. Walked past a pet shop. It stank. As we were approaching, the dogs started barking. I inched back a little when we were near the cage as I fear dogs. I had to hold my breath all the way as the smell was really unbearable. BY claimed that he was used to the smell as his neighbour's dog stinks more. Next, we headed to Kranji Reservoir. Quite an unknown place. But the air was fresh. Hmm...
Ok, that's all for my Saturday. How's yours? : )

Whee! I passed my Advance Theory at the first attempt! My eyes brightened when I saw the huge fonts on the computer screen which said "PASSED" Actually, I think I would fail if not for ".........." I shall not continue. It is a secret. Hee.. Anyway, just want to say lady luck is shining on me. I guess I am the only "lucky" candidate. Haha.
When I was glancing around, I saw the candidate beside me and another about 2 metres in front of me with the huge font which said "FAILED" on their computer screens. I had this immediate, pessimistic feeling that told me I would be one of them. Left with about 10 minutes, I quickly double-checked my answers. One by one, the candidates all left, leaving only me behind. My heart began to race faster. Down with 5 more minutes, while I was still looking through those unsure questions, the huge yellowish-brown fonts "PASSED" suddenly appeared on my computer screen. I was startled for a moment, eyes still staring at the word for 2 seconds. The next moment, I was seen rushing out of the room, grinning away. That explained why the man standing near the staircase was looking at me, thinking "This girl must be out of her mind". I was too overjoyed to care much anyway. Immediately, I called BY and shared with him the good news.
When I got home, I shouted to mum (who was sitting on the sofa watching TV), "Yeah, I passed!" Obviously, she was happy for me too. I told her the secret too. Haha. Till now, I am still very happy, as if I had just strike lottery of a million dollars. :))))

My Saturday was spent swimming in the evening. Lost count of how many laps I swam. The pool was extremely crowded. Not a surprise to me as it was a weekend. Fortunately, my mood was not ruined by the crowd. My stamina did not deteriorate, thankfully. However, I am still dissatisfied with my speed. Perhaps my expectation is too high? I don't know. I have been trying hard to improve on my speed.
After which went to Lot 1, Delifrance, for dinner. I ordered beef with mashed potatoes. Nice! BY had seafood baked rice. He did not like it, I think. I ate some of his rice as mine was not enough to fill my stomach. : ) Honestly, the baked rice was not up to my standard. It tasted like the Chinese style, Mui Fan. After we had our fills, we walked around Lot 1. Went to 'More Than Words' and BY bought a cute cd pocket for his car and a pair of slippers. As for me, I left the place empty-handed though tempted to buy the cute, fluffy disney pencil case. Was looking for mobile accessory but none caught my eyes.
After walking around, we left for Jurong Hill. A nice place which BY had been bugging me to go which I declined. Finally went there today. Indeed, the slopes up were steep, narrow and curvy. There was a tall, look-alike Sentosa Tower. We walked up to the top. The cool, night breeze almost froze me. So nice of BY to provide me with unconditional warmth. Next, we went to the 'prawning' area. What a happening sight! A hokkien KTV was going on stage, with people sitting at their tables enjoying their steamboat dinner, drinking and admiring the singers' voices. Seeing these people 'prawning' made me recall the day when I was 'prawning' with the students. Still remembering the 7 prawns I fished. Sadly, I did not have a chance to taste them as my partner wanted the prawns, so i handed all to the cute boy. In case you are wondering, he is only 4 years old!
A nice, quiet place indeed. I rank that place 4 out of 5 stars! : ) I enjoyed my night. Especially the moment when I was piggybacked across a grass patch to the parking lot. Fearful of hidden cockroaches or mice in the grass patch, I jokingly mentioned I wanted to be piggybacked. And he did. Hee..
Another Saturday is over so soon. Looking forward to the next Saturday!
