Went recce at Mount Faber for the restaurant I have booked for 18 Dec. Cannot wait for that day to arrive. : ) Afterwhich, headed to Vivo City for dinner! Initially, went to queue at Marche but changed our mind and ate at Aji By Hanabi (Japanese Restaurant) instead. We had ala carte buffet. $42 per pax. Incredibly high price for a restaurant buffet, cause one can pay abit more for hotel buffet. Anyhow, we enjoyed the food. The sashimi is superb fresh. The beef steak is two thumbs-up! The tenderness of it is just right for me. Neither too tough nor too raw. Rate it 10/10! The mushroom salad, cod fish, smoked salmon and boiled pumpkin are great too! The boiled pumpkins I placed three servings of it. Yum yum! Actually, I do not like pumpkins, but this japanese pumpkin tastes really different. Sweet.
Carrying our bloated tummy, we dragged our feet to the riverside. Nice environment, though crowded. A well-spent Saturday. Looking forward to next Saturday.
